Because no matter which team you support, nobody, and I mean this is in the nicest way possible, gives a fuck about your opinion on something that happened months ago(it’s done and did and can’t be changed…you do realize this right?)

If only bitching, whining and complaining solved all our real life issues we’d all be set for life…

So there are times when we step away from our lives in the city.

Times when we graciously turn off our cell phones and find ways to entertain ourselves without the internet or cable…

I wont lie and say we became one with nature or anything because nature can sometimes be a bitch, I have the bites and burns to prove it.

We did however, enjoy the hell out of getting a break, cheap vacation or not it was a much needed break for myself and I’m sure Erin would agree for herself as well.

I truly enjoyed having the opportunity to spend some time with good friends and away from my family and home life. I didn’t have to think about anything and that was a nice break for my over worked brain I suppose.

There were nudists(we weren’t a part of that crowd…well not all of us), there was a lot of alcohol, there were stink ass outhouses and it was freezing ass cold in the morning

BUT IT WAS AWESOME and even if I cant get the smell of campfire(which actually smells pretty nice)out of my hair, or that god awful smell of vodka and outhouses(eww) I would do it again in a heartbeat.

GOOD TIMES and of course I’m glad I got to go with my ~~good great~~ amazing friend Erin.

I suppose its easy for people to forget that the NHL is a business. Hockey is a game but they don’t sell you tickets to these games for nothing right?

I’m not sure I believe a player wanting more is greedy, if they feel like there are better options out there for them than they are going to look for it. That being said I’m not sure I understand Ehrhoff’s decision to turn down the offer to stay in Vancouver, its not necessarily greed, just business.

I wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up, he was a great player and I’m not going to forget the good things he brought off and on the ice.
